The FogBrat Homepage and Center for the Sarcastic Arts

All
this and she can cook, too!Not
authentic, but lots of fun
When I do living history demonstrations, I try to be as authentic as possible, but every once in a while, you have to let your hair down and go Ren for a day.

When I started this website, I was a little leery of saying anything that might upset anyone.

I'm over that now.

I've removed a large share of the old files from this site because I just don't have the interest in maintaining them anymore, and I've added a few new goodies that ought to really annoy a few people.

One thing I will leave up here, though:Just a moment on the soapbox...Not everyone was a warrior. Please take a moment and think about how everyone else lived. Chances are, those entirely common and utterly unimportant people were related to you. If all you care about is heros, royalty and whether or not you're related to them, you're beneath my contempt.

This one's for you, yer Highness!

About the Center for the Sarcastic Arts:

If you need me to tell you about it, it would be lost on you...really...

Okay, on with the show!

My reenactment alter ego Duncan is still here, and still has his very own website. He's undergone some rather interesting changes in the last several years, and no longer bears any resemblance to his original incarnation (except for the beard and black lace knickers, that is)

The Gudewife of Rhyme is still here, as well, and for the first time, at least one or two of her wee ditties will accompany her. If you're offended by raunchy poems and that sort of thing, I suggest you skip that page (and also a fair part of John Wilmot's stuff, as well)

And, just in case anyone happened to miss it, I've developed yet another reenactment alter ego in my ongoing effort to avoid cooking.
It's a goodie, too. We call her "Kitty" for short. If you were offended by the Duncan or the Gudewife, I suggest you back slowly away from the computer and have a nice cup of tea instead of reading this one.

The Witchcraft History links are still here too, in much the same state they've been since I started. Surprisingly (or perhaps not, now that I think about it) this page gets more hits than any other here.

What's gone: The wedding pictures (sorry Lesley!), the FogBrat Interview, and other s.c.s.-related pages. I haven't been around there in so long it seemed silly to keep them around.

New on the KezarCelts website and worth a look-see:

The Clan Gregor Society, NE Chapter: Reconstituted, Reformulated, and completely Reworked. Note please that I did NOT use the word "Reformed" in that sentence.

Glencarnoch's Regiment: A group portraying the regiment of Robert MacGregor of Glencarnoch during the 1745 Rebellion (and having a pretty good time doing so). If you were looking for the most excellent and exquisitely compiled "Linklady Living History Links Page," this is where it's gone. I decided to put it where someone might actually use it.

Highlanders and Hanoverians: An Online Resource for Jacobite Period Living History and Military Reenactment. Same site as before, just a new home.
